What is an Annealed Black Plain End Pipe?
Our Annealed Black Plain End Pipes are CE certified. Each pipe undergoes a leak-proof test under 50 bar pressure and an eddy current (E/C) test. Annealing is a heat treatment process applied at 1050 °C that induces favorable changes in the properties of the pipe, such as strength, hardness, and elasticity, by altering its microstructure. This process ensures easy welding and long-lasting durability.
The ovality tolerance of our annealed black water pipes is very narrow. When pipes are aligned end-to-end, they provide perfect alignment across all axes. No welding overflow or gaps that require extra filling occur. The pipes are prepared for quick, easy, and reliable pre-welding, making butt welding simpler.
